Thanks Carlos! What'd ya think of me jamn?


No Johnn doesn't have anything out as of yet.  He has some songs posted on his myspace from a demo he recorded.  But as of yet, no CD released.  Johhny will be playing at my wedding along with Conjunto Califas in October of this year here in Cali.


I'll keep you posted on when he releases something.  He is said he'd let me know when the CD will be out.

Hey bro you can really throw down, you are pretty good! Every think of forming your own group? The potential and talent and desire is all there. Plus you know your conjunto roots, unlike alot of the younger guys(sad but true). Good luck on the wedding i am sure it's going to be a great dance afterwards, hopefully you can get up on stage and jamm a few songs haha. Thank you Carlos for your kind words.  Most of all, for calling me young. LOL  I feel like the oldest 35 year old at times though. LOL


As far as a band, my brothers and I have our band here.  But we don't jam as much as I would like to.  Our band is a four piece conjunto band that derives from many influences.  Many of which are rooted from Conjunto Music.  For me, that's all I listen to.


As far as jamn' at the reception, I hope so.  Like you already know, I love jamn w/ Califas and it would be awesome to jam with El Brujo.

Juan, thank you for your compliment.  I truly appreciate it.  Like I was telling Carlos, my brothers and I have our band, but we don't play as much as I'd like to.  We are planning to record just a short demo here at the house.   Once it's done, I'll send you a copy.
