i saw a video of this artist his name is mr hernandez i think he is from califas i saw him on my space he got a good style if anyone could help me if he got a cd out please.

If your refering to Martin Hernandez he plays with "Conjunto Califas". That cd is avaible on this site. Just click Canasta Catalog and look for the Conjunto Califas. I think the video your refering is one where he is playing in Monterry and playing the song La Novia Del Pescador. Let me add that Martin is one of the best acordeon plays out there. Very talented young man.

Let me second Carlos' comments.  Aside from being down-to-earth and good people, Martin is in fact one to turn heads when he plays.  Very talented musician of many instruments, vocals and above all, accordionist.


Conjunto Califas, what can be said about these guys that hasn't been said.  All talented musicians with years of experience under their belts.

Carlos, the video Juan is talking about is the one you posted not to long ago on this forum.  It's when Conjunto Califas played at San Antonio at Fan Fair 2004.  The Mr. Hernandes he is referring to is Martin Hernandez.  "Mr. Hernandez" is Martin's current screen name for his myspace.  The myspace Juan is talking about is mine.  Here is the link: www.tru2conjunto.com
