Max Baca is arguably the best bajo sexto player in the scene, having grown up in music with his father and brothers in New Mexico. He has performed extensively with Flaco Jimenez, the Texas Tornadoes, Aztex and Los Super Seven. He now leads the TexManiacs, where he shares the stage with accordionist David Farias, of the famous Farias brothers of San Antonio, better known as "La Tropa F."
