Martin Hernandez -Conjunto Califas has overtaken LIL Michael for the led in the conjunto poll!! This is going to come down to a photo finish, cant wait to see the final results!
For those of you who don't know Martin Hernandez, this guy is something else. I respect his knowledge of music and theory. He has played with a few known names to include Jay Perez, Eddie Gonzales, Chuy Chavez and his recordings can be heard on the Garcia Bros. CD, "No Nos Dejo Sin Musica" and recentlty with Conjunto Califas, "Greates Hits Vol.1". Compared to a legend, Steve Jordan, Martin is known and well respected by accordionist of all genres in Texas and throughout the country.
