I agree I have heard Ted before and man was I blown away!!! Being around music alot i know alot of musicans past and current, and Ted is The Very Best i have ever seen. I can say with cofidence that Ted's skills can easily match those of Legends like Eloy Bernal, or Adan De La Rosa Sr. For those of you who dont know him or never heard him play, man your missing out. On top of all that he can sing and sing very well, aswell as play other instruments. Plus he's a very nice guy and good friend. Listen to my next show Coastal Bend Conjunto show #13 and on there i will play a popurri from the last cd he worked on with Albert Flores Y La Juventud its Called the "Juvy Special" check it and remember he has barely started to scracth the surface of his tremdous talent.
yes i agree with you Carlos Ted is a great bajo player and for his young age he has alot of great talent and is a very nice guy always making an effort for his fans becuase i've seen him when he has performed and whenever they sign autographs he never lets one go by him, so keep up the good work Ted and like always you have my support becuase conjunto music is the best

hey lucky, i really dont know when the show is going to be played. Its usually played at random at differnt times a day a couple of times a day. It should start in a day or so just try checking for it . I catch it most of the time in the mornings between 7am-11am mostly.
I agree with all of you'll, Ted can play anything from Tony De la Rosa Boni, Tremendos,campoenes, Ramon Ayala, Solido, Duelo Mazziso, Juan P moreno, Chamacos, Hometownboys, Garcia Bros. Ruben Naranjo, Mando Y la Venganza, etc.. Name just about any style, and he can play it. Anywhere from old school to new school. he will tear it up on the bajo. As u can see alot of people know Ted and the type of person he is, so if u haven't heard about him welll I think u r missing a hell of a performance on the Bajo sexto he is truly a master of the instument. In conclusion I would like to say that ted is a very confident guy who doesn't trash talk, he just lets his bajo sexto do the talking.
ted that's right he is one of the most talented young bajo player, keep up the great work that your doing ted believe me people he is awesome in what he does, i give him a 10 plus more

I play bajo sexto too. I hear Ted is the best. One of these days i would love a conjunto showdown bajo vs. bajo haha. It would be fun going against the best. Good luck ted may you have a long and busy sucessful career.

I agree with the people on here. I think Ted is one of the best kept secrects in all of tejano music right now. Hopefully one that cat will assend to the stars where he belongs.
Hey hell boy sorry its taking me a while to respond its just i just got in from out of town. We played in San Antonio at the market square. My dad Ted Villalobos Sr. who is 76yrs old taught me the basics of the bajo but old school style. Also, Roland Arias helped me bajo more. Lately its just been learning by ear trying to learn new stuff too freak out people. but i will always remember what my dad told me just because you learned how to play does make you the best it makes you know that you accomplished something that not to many people can learn.
