I would like to start out by thanking those of you hwo have asked about Tony Saenz.  He is my brother and always will be. ( I say this out of love for our friendship of many years).  He is doing great and continues to walk strong in his Christian faith.  I love and wish him the very best.

That being said, on Saturday May 19th in San Antonio, we embark on a new era for Cuatro Rosas.  The new lead vocalist and bajo sexto player is Rodrigo "Jr" Torres.  Many of you may know him for his storied musical career.  For those of you who don't, Jr is the first cousin of the late great Joe Ramos.  Jr has recorded with Tony de la Rosa the song "Mejor Solo".  Bernardo y sus Compadres "Como Un Clavo en La Pared", "Cancion Mixteca" as well as most recently with Edgar Vasquez the song "Cartero".  So as you can see he brings a wealth of musical talent.

The band will also include the Legend Greg Paredez on bass and 2nd voice.  Albert "Snoopy" Soliz on 2nd voice.  Andy Viera will be on accordion and Gino Garza will round out the band on drums.  The band manager is Eddie Casas.

Thank you and we will be performing for the 1st time Conjunto Festival weekend Saturday May 19th, in San Antonio @ the Royal Palace Ballroom.  Also performing that night will be another great talent Lazaro Perez y su Conjunto!!

I wanted to say Thank you to everyone for your encouraging words. Carr, again your the best bro!! Having this forum as a platform is great.  Your inspirational attitude and words are more than an added plus.  It's just refreshing bro, really!! Viv, your awesome as well ! Once again thank you!! And to everyone, I promise you this, we are going to play our hearts out on Saturday May, 19th in San Antonio!!!

Eddie, thanks a million. Your one of the most honest people and one of the biggest conjunto lovers and supporters i know. To you no one is bigger than the music itself, your alot like me. I see a new era dawning for conjunto music, and i look forward to it. So much talent is up and coming along with our great legends. This is a very exciting time to be a Conjunto fan. This dance will kick off a new Era for 4R's and also for conjunto music as we know it. I will personally do what i can to make changes in the whole industry i thing at a time. It's going to be a long process,but well worth it. People like you will make it possible for great things to happen.
