It's a sad day once again in the Conjunto World. We have lost another Legand. Angel Flores has left our world to go to the next. He joins other legends, the likes of Tony De La Rosa, Ruben Vela, Ruben Naranjo, Eloy Bernal, Joe Ramos, ChaCha Jimenez, Joe Martinez, Jimmy Garcia, Amadeo Flores and countless others. It's a long list of people who helped shape our music into what is it today. Angel was one of the greatest musicans of All-Time, a great friend to many and an Idol to countless others. He was one of the top musicans from Conjunto's Golden Age, and my hope is as we start to enter another Golden Age for Conjunto with so many young talented musicans, they take time to look at these Great men and learn from them, and continue this great legacy. To the family, friends, and fans of The Legendary Angel Flores, we send our condolences from the entire Canasta Family and La Familia Garcia. Be with the Angels in Heaven my friend. May your accordion and golden voice ring forever amongst the other legends!
