I'm Baaack!thats right my friends I'm back and stronger than ever! and it gives me great pleasure to bring to u this weeks artist for Conjunto of The Week. he's known as one of the fastest Rising young guns in the Conjunto Music scene today. from the small community of Refugio Texas also known as "Bobcat Country" he is none other than Canasta Recording Artist Randy Garcia y Conjunto Estrella. the band consists of Josh Abila (Bass), Chris Garcia (Bajo) and Alex Ochoa (Drums).Randy started learning the accordion at the young age of 14 and was influenced and inspired to perform by legends such as Tony De La Rosa, Alfredo De La Rosa and the Great Angel Flores just to name a few. and now at age of 18 years old he continues to capture the attention of audiences from all over and of all ages with his sound and style of playing the Accordion and is due to release his brand new cd very soon under the direction of Canasta Records and is produced by another great Conjunto Music Icon Lazaro Perez. mis amigos I was Invited by randy and the guys to record some bass tracks with them and let me tell u what a priviledge it was to be apart of this great project these guys are very talented and have a very bright future ahead of them!
