Wow what a great weekend of conjunto music this past weekend in San Antonio!! Just wanted to say all the conjunto's played excellent and deserve a standing ovation. Amazing preformces awards go to the Vela Family for El Conjunto De Ruben Vela's presention, and special guest Canasta Recording artist Gerardo Mejia who did a tremendous job filling in. Also to festival rookie Lazaro Perez Y Su Conjunto who just rocked the house Sat. afternoon with prehaps the TCF's best overall preformance. Also shout to Hornio from Japan who just put on a great show and is a great musican and person. Also Tony Tigre rocked at Lerma's at the TCF after party! Overall a great weekend to be a conjunto fan. Thank you to all the artists and people that supported conjunto this historical weekend!
