Hello Canasta Records Message Board Readers. It is with Profound Sadness that I announce the recent passing of a Great Tejano Accordionist, Mi Primo Beto Morales. Originally from Bishop Texas, Beto for many years played "The Circuit" in the Bishop-Kingsville-Corpus Christi area en Aquellos Anos con Mi Primo Chago Morales con El Conjunto Los Luceros, y otros grupos mas! He later went on to play con El Conjunto Bernal back in 1977-1978. Afterwards, he joined Los Buenos De Rene Y Jesse Serrata! Some of "El Pajaros" great Accordion playing can be heard on the single con El Conjunto Bernal "Te Voy A Olvidar" & "Quiero Mas", which featured Jesse Serrata on Vocals, released in 1978! He also recorded 2 CD'S with Los Buenos on Hacienda Records, "Como Te Llamas Tu" & "El Regalo"! In his later years, Beto Y Su Familia had lived in Fort Worth!
