Thanks for posting that Linda that is just like wow.I feel for people with that mind set though and wish they would open their eyes. IMO great music is great no matter the genre. I love conjunto with all my heart but i won't say i don't listen to other stuff like norteno, or tejano from time to time cause i do. There is groups i like and groups i don't like but i ain't going to bash them cause i don't care for their music. To each their own.  Everyone has different tastes and that's cool, whatever floats their boat, but people like this person should not bash other people's music or tastes just cause they don't like a certian genre of music. Like Linda said, becareful what you say cause it will come bite you in the A$$!!

thanks exactly right about this fool, i mean we are all entitled to our opinions, but stop hating who ever u are. if ur grandpa is alive or not he should slap u for making comments like that. u should have pride in the roots our elders set for us. and guess what that music u say is from the 30's is still kicking today. poqr que "conjunto nunca morira" u like Despoz, pues where do u thing all those songs came from dumb dumb???  open up ur eyes, u probably are one of those who burns ur cds from others so u wont spend ur money, and complain about paying at the door. heck coming from west tx you all in places like for example Corpus are lucky to get bands like Boni, mando, and so forth, at cheap cover prices, all that talent performing and at thay cheap, and for u not to appreciate it, thats a damn shame. heck i see line ups of festivals in that area that r even free for la raza, when do u see bands like Duelo, Intocable, Ramon Ayala play for free or for 5 to 10 bucks, i think not. and then to the way u dress, if u dont like what u see in the mirror, u have issues. i can pretty much bet u dont know a damn thing about playing an instrument yet ur critizing Ricky Naranjo y Los Gamblers, calate, no todos pueden, o tienen el don de dios of playing and performing music. just like they say, people like u is why this genre is in spot its in. pobre ignorante, u are. btw, im not knocking on theses gruops i mentioned about not playing for free, cause it is what it is. ur not a real music supporter of these stations im shure of that so stop ur crying.

Linda no one promotes conjunto music like you do, your contributions are vast. This idiot apprently has no understanding of the word conjunto pioneers or any understanding of the roots of Tejano music. I f it were not for people like Tony de la Rosa, Gilberto Perez and Rueben Naranjo and many others to many to mention, Tejano music would not exist as it is. If you listen to Little Joe talk he gets it and maybe this guy could learn a thing or two about our roots. Young Tejanos need to learn and read so they can appreciate where Conjunto Music has taken us.
