Went and saw the Hometown Boys this saturday,,,, and they are definately NEW AND IMPROVED!!!! Letting Marky Lee go was one of the best things they could have done...vocals were tight!!!....Anthony (ex-INVICTO???) really jammed on the accordion....overall the band was great!!! Glad to see them back on top of their game...only bad thing was they didnt play the song I requested...."Echame la Culpa"...but I wont hold that against them....for now....
HEY GUYS THANKS FOR THE PROPS....IT IS A REAL HONOR TO BE ON STAGE WITH THESE GUYS AND TO BE ABLE TO FIT IN IS EVEN BETTER.....THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR SOME NEW MATERIAL......
I didnt get the lead vocalists name, but the guy is good, very good showman also, really interacted well with the crowd, as for segunda?????????? thats tough to figure out....cuz everyone on the stage had a microphone, and everyone sang at some point in the show, if I had to pinpoint someone, it would be between Anthony and Don Roman...I swear, there were some songs where you could close your eyes and "hear" Ricky and Joe on that stage....put a quiver in my liver,....well that might have been all the alcohol consumed, just kidding....they sounded just like the original Homies....
the homies will never be replace there will only be one hometown boys which are now in heaven just like tony de la rosa there will only be one may god bless there souls y que viva la musica de conjunto .
