Hola mis amigos, I have been visiting the Canasta Message board for some time now and would like to take time to congratulate and thank our friend Carlos for the service he & Canasta Records provide for us Conjunto Musicians and our Fans. Carlos, thanks buddy. I would also like to take advantage of the bord & post to all the working Conjuntos, if you find you're self- needing a fill in bass player, I may be intrested??? My preference of music is very simple, Disciplined! beat first... I have been fortunate to study, record & play on stage with non other than my minter Tony De La Rosa. Others & most recent include Los D Boys, Alfredo De La Rosa & Boni M. just to name a few. Because of other obligations I can only do fill in gigs. Bo did you record on the cd of the D Boyz "Siguiendo El Camino" that cd is by far my favorite D Boyz cd. The bass sounds just amazing on that cd, also what cd's did you record with Tony De La Rosa? Thanks, as a young bass player i love your style.
Thanks Freddy I hope you keep it up, learn all you can my friend. The answer to your question is yes Siguiendo El Camino was recorded with me on the bass. I also recorded with Tony his last few C.Ds at Disa Rec. in Montery & Hacienda Rec.
