"LA TEJANA" KUKA 105.9 is on the air as of Monday December 3. It IS a FULL TIME conjunto radio station.
Obviously, we will depend on the support of hard-core conjunto lovers to maintain the format, and we look forward to your help as we get this thing kick-started.

Linda today is a truly historic day for Conjunto Music. It marks the start of a new era, the first shots have been fired ,Conjunto is back!! We got our first FM station to prove it! It is a sign of things to come, let's not back down now let's work harder than ever to push conjunto to the very top!

The phones are ringing off the hook this morning, and we couldn't be happier. We knew this day was coming and are soooooo excited.
La Tejana 105.9 is here to stay! Obviously, the longevity of any radio format rides on ratings and advertising, and we feel FM factor will definitely give us a huge boost. But being second-generation Conjunto guys, Jerry and I were always aware that the Alice - Kingsville - Corpus Christi corridor is one of the true last bastions of traditional conjunto regional. Aqui esta la mera mata de Conjunto!!
