Hey raza i am back with an another cd review. This time we have the new cd by Ruben Vela. Ya you heard that right Ruben Vela has made something new! It had been like 6 or 7 years since his last cd, and i was losing hope we had heard the last from this conjunto legend. This new cd simply put is awesome. In my opion this cd is better than all the last 5 cds he made for Hacendia or Crown Records. It's classic Ruben Vela at it's purest form. It really reminds me of the Ruben we heard during his peak in the 80's when he recorded for Freddie Records and also for Joey Records.It has a great combo of rancheras, cumbias, and polkas. The cumbia Los Melones is a awesome along with songs like Ensename a Cantar, and Chiquita. The Polkas Celeste and Olga will get you off your feet and make you dance all over your house! Overall this is an excellent cd which i give the Highest grade possible. Yes i would recommend this cd to any conjunto lover, its that damn good! Final Grade A++
