That is Ramon Medina on bajo with Tony. Medina was Tony's bajo player for 20 yrs. Sad news is that Ramon Medina is barely alive today. Doctors say he doen't have too many days left to live.
Ramon Medina, one of the greatest Bajo Players in the history of conjunto music. He started with Ruben Vela in the 1959 and later joined Gilberto Perez to form the original Gilberto Perez Y Sus Compadres.
Today, he lives in Edcouch, Texas where he spends his days resting and recoperating from his illnesses.
