OMG, you've stumped me! LOL, I know how that is seriously. I tend to go over board at times too. But in all honesty, I shop sensibly. I try to find bargains and compare things instead of just buying whatever comes first. I wait for the sales to come in the newspapers to see what is going on sale for the holidays. And I always set a limit per person. My limit is usually $20 and under per person, and person meaning immediate family (fiance, mother, father, sister, brother, in-laws, nieces, and nephews). Everyone else I usually bake cookies, or send X-mas cards to. Now although I set a limit I do tend to be tempted to spend more, I figure since it's only once a year what the hay, right. But I stop myself by thinking, "hmmmm...are they really ganna spend that much on me?" Probly not so keep it simple. Remember if you are definately low on cash, look for deals. Clearance items are always great, especially if you are trying to save money. And remember it's always the thought that counts, so dont' worry what they think.

Hi RH, it's not a weird question at all. Have you tried the internet? Watch out though, there's a lot of pervs out there. I should know, I snagged one. LOL, just kidding Carr. I met Carlos online in a Texas Chat room. Go figure, who would of known that we would actually make it this far. It's been almost 6 years since and it's been great. It took him 5 years to ask me to marry him. My brother found his girlfriend on Myspace, and not at a bar for once in his life. LOL. I have a cousin that met her boyfriend online, and is very happy with him. Carlos said to go to a strip club, but pay no attention to him. He's never even step near one in his life. Here's some other options:

1. Internet dating sites, chat rooms, journals, blogs, forums, etc.
2. Dances
3. Coffee Shops
4. Book Stores (you'll find the brainy ones there)
5. Super Market, strike up a conversation about something in view.
6. The Mall - (there's tons of people there)
7. Festivals
8. Concerts
9. Laundromat
10. Work - (Be careful though, we all know how those turn out)
11. School - (College is the best place)

Basically any funtion that has a lot of people around you have a chance. But if you really don't like to get out much, then I'd deffinately try the internet. Just watch out for the crazies.

James, haha, you've stomped me! This is a question for Carlos, he always has weird adventures in public restrooms. Wait that didn't sound right. LOL, he always runs into weird people in there like you, I swear he comes out with a diff story everywhere we go. LOL. Why don't you just not answer him, till after you get out of the stall. Say that you didn't hear him, because you were to busy concentrating. LOL. You can always avoid going at the same time he goes. Or you can just flat out tell him to please not bother you while in the potty because you feel uncomfortable. You can always flush the toilet everytime he's ganna talk. LOL, I'm clueless. I'm sure he'll understand. You see it's harder for me to answer this cause I'm a girl. haha, we always talk anywhere and everywhere. haha.

MO, just tell her that you prefer to drive. If she asks why, then you can tell her that you feel safer if you take the wheel. And if she still asks why even though you're trying to make your way around the situation, just tell her that you don't think her driving is well suitible for long trips and just let her know of her flaws so maybe in the future she can work on them. If she gets upset, I wouldn't worry, she'll get over it. Especially if you take her shopping on that trip you're goin on.

T, sorry to say, but in situations like this you won't get the point across to her no matter what. Her mind is set and you really can't do anything about it, but just let it go it's course. Let her learn by her mistakes. I know it's going to hurt you, I have an older brother myself, but I learned and with that learning I meadowed my way through to find that perfect guy instead of more losers. You already warned her, there's really not much you can do now. I would say try headin her in a diff direction towards someone else, but that's hard considering the fact that you probly won't find someone you approve of on time. But like I said whether you approve of it or not, it has to play through. It's the cycle of life. I'm sure you've been through a few heataches that have made you stronger. But yeah, if he's really a bother to you, maybe you should bring it up to him and not to her. I would think it would be easier for him to turn away even if it will be upsetting to her. Especially if he is your friend he should consider how you feel on this situation.

We like both, but in choosing let's see. Flowers are nice for decor but die quickly. Chocolates are awesome but go to our thighs. Hmmm. I'd take the chocolates any day. LOL, definately go for the chocolates, while you're at it through in a single rose.

:

1. CD compilation of the songs you both like together
2. A homemade Valentines card is cute
3. A picture frame with a pic of both of you
4. A DVD of the first movie you ever watched with her
5. Bake a cake (it's always cute to just think of a guy bakin)
6. Write her a poem
7. Make her a beaded bracelet, as a symbol of your love
8. Give her a massage (On her shoulders or back!)
9. You can always make dinner, rent a movie, and just cuddle (just being together on this day is great.)
10. If you are a drawer, draw her something and frame it.
11. Make her a jewlery box if you are a crafter, something small and cute is good.
12. Make her some chocolate covered Strawberries (Did you read this one Carlos :) )
13. Make her a valentine coupon book.
14. The best one is to just spend the whole day with her, no interruptions.

Hope that helped a bit, i've never recieved homemade gifts before, but I think she'd enjoy anything that you give her.

Hi Shorty,

I think short guys are cute. I know sometimes height plays a major role in relationships, but don't let it bring you down. It's not like that in most cases. Some tall girls like short guys, but they think that the short guys dont' like them because they are tall. I used to have the same problem as you, but opposite. I was to tall. LOL. Then I stopped growing, which I was very happy, cause at that point all the guys were having growth spurts. Anyways, you need to have major confidence in yourself. Confidence is the key to a happy life. Especially when you are trying to impress the opposite sex. You don't wanna scare them off by being unsure of yourself. Here's an interesting article for you. I know most people would keep quiet, but I'd tell the truth. Accidents happen, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Besides, you'd feel a whole lot better if you got it off your chest. That happened to me a couple of months ago in a shopping center. I parked near a brand new honda civic, and when i opened my door a strong burst of wind blew it open and BAM! I felt bad but there was nothin I could do about it. My paint rubbed off but no dents, but still I felt bad cause I had no clue who that person was. But yeah, I'd tell her the truth. Because if you don't, and keep holdin it in, you're just ganna stress yourself out. And besides, try putting yourself in her shoes. How would you feel if you a new car and loaned it to your sis and something happened to it. I'm sure you'd be upset, but like I said, accidents happen. :)

Hi VQ,

First off, "DO NOT" listen to what other's think. If you keep listening then it's ganna keep holding you back from even trying. Like they say If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. If you believe you are good, go for it, I don't know if you have noticed, but there are tons of bands that made it big that aren't that great, but yet diff people have diff tastes. I say you convince them by not fallin back on what you want, go forward, start your band, and show them what you're made of. Good or Not, you're still doing what's in your heart and not what others tell you to do. You won't know if you are good until you try. Remember you have to start from the bottom up. When I first started in graphic design, I had no freakin clue how to do anything. As you can tell in my earlier work, it wasn't that great, left overs from the background of the pic lingered and looked very fake and some tacky, but I improved, and didn't care what others thought of it. I showed them up when I started advanceing in things (except for Tres's CD, lol sorry tres, I promise to have the camera on the right settings next time). Look again, I started this website 3 years ago while haveing it first as a project for school, then I decided to actually put it up fully, and at first hardly anyone got on, put up a message board still nada, then we started promoting it, working hard for what we had, and whala, 3 years later we've established a steady crowd and a good reputation. Just take things step by step, day by day and do worry what others think, as long as your happy. And we support you, that's all that matters

LOL, Valentines is manana buddy! Where have you been. haha, anyways. You can always do the traditional flowers and chocolate. You can also treat her to a romantic dinner, or make a romantic dinner. Jewlery is always a yes, cheap or expensive I'm not picky, I mean she shouldn't be picky. lol. Perfume or body spray is another good thing. You can also find an old pic of you two from the begining of your relationship and frame it, and/or write a romantic poem. How about buying her one of her favorite romantic movies or cd. How about a movie and dinner. Bake her something, it's always heartwarming to see a guy bake for a girl, hell for anything. lol. Last but not least, send the whole day with her with no interuptions.

Make a trail of roses leading "somewhere", light candles, and have fun. (Just don't set the house on fire, please). Hopefully I helped a bit, but anything you do or give her won't change the way she feels about you, so do what your heart desires.

Hi Jeff,

Why don't you make a move as well. If you feel like it isn't right, then maybe you should have a talk with your buddy. Let him know how you feel and make sure he doesn't feel the same, because if he does, it might cause a lil trouble. You might also want to talk to that girl to see how she feels about you, so that way you know whether or not you are wasting your time. Once you're settled with your confidence then go for it and ask her out. Or if you really don't give a poop, just go ask her out and pretend you don't know anything about your buddy hitting on her. Just remember that there are plenty of fish in the sea, and don't waste your time on something you have to work at before gettin to it. Life is to short to be wasting time. So I say let her know that you like her and hear what she has to say before actually going to your friend about it. He'd probly do the same.

Most would say to take the job, I'd honestly tell you to finish school. You've gone so far. I did the same thing, I graduated college and took a job right away before getting a higher degree that I had wanted just because this job is like one of the highest paid in the county, but now I wish I can go back to school and do what I wanted to do. But it's up to you hun, what's in your heart. Are you in it for the money, or for something you'd enjoy doing. If you like the job, and it's like a for sure deal, and is stable, then take it. Not many jobs come around like that. The thing is if you do decide to go that way, make sure it's really what you want. If you do take it, and if something happens later (hopefully not) you can always go back to college to finish up. The only thing with that is that your credentials might change, and you might need to take more classes to finish up. But you have the rest of your life to figure it out. Take the job if you really want it, not only if it's for the money.
