I like to play a lot of Tony De La Rosa, Valerio Longoria, Ruben Naranjo and Ricardo Guzman jams. I also like to use the songs I write. It gives the crowd something new to listen to besides the same songs played over and over. Polkas are always a favorite for crowds.

haha, some musicans i know just cant play if they aint drunk lol. Some say it helps them get in the zone. I think i would forget the words to the song or something if i was trying to sing drunk. I guess some of these guys have been doing it for so long it is just natural to them to sing and play no matter what the circumstances lol.

Heck girl, there are times when I've forgotten the words and I was sober. LOL One time I was helping out Conjunto Califas and I was singing a song from Los Fantasmas and I zoned out and forgot the words. Freddie, the bajo sexto player, made it known over the mic that I had in the middle of the song. LOL I thought that was jacked up, but funny.
