Hey HHH i am excited about this too. I missed doing it, but i got so busy with projects i just did not have time. Luckily i have some extra time now that i can devote to doing this. Next week we are going to start taking nomations for the First Canasta Records Tournament. What this will be is people will nomanate for the best acordeon player in conjunto history. It's time to finally settle this agrument. Let's see how our Icons do head to head against one another. I will post more info on this next week!
Ms. Escobar is breaking barriers for Conjunto Music on Tejano stations that would never play Conjunto. She helps promote conjunto,by awarding scholarships to kids that play conjunto(our future stars). So far she has awarded 27 scholarships, and that says A LOT. These are just a few reasons why 2006 was a darn good year for The First Lady of Conjunto..
