Hey people i am back with my reviews, hope you enjoy. OK well this cd was not what i expected. Since Roger had been part of Ricky Naranjo Y Los Gamblers for the last few years i expected a Ruben Naranjo/Los Nobles type sound from this group. Well it is not really what i got with this cd. It is more tejanoish, than pure conjunto. About the only songs i liked were "Pa Que Son Pasiones", and "Mil Cadenas". Those 2 tracks are pretty good conjunto, but the rest was not my type of music. Overall they tried hard but i feel they fell a little bit short. The group is good, but they could have picked better material. Final Grade C+
Good review Sixer, i agree with it 100% i was expecting something totaly different with this cd. While it was ok, i think it could have been ALOT better. I found most of the material very weak. Let's hope their next cd, will be much improved.
This cd was just dissappointing. The guys are talented but like you two said the music they selected was just awful. Aside from one or tow decent tracks this cd was a BIG dissappointment
