I hope not. I new Coco, the bajo player who's Edgar's son, was going off on his own. But I didn't think the dad was calling it quits for now.

Just got off the phone with Carlos, and this is what he told me. Coco and the acordion player left to start their own group. Edgar is still playing and now has the acordion they call "Tornado" former acordionist for Bernardo, and Los D Boys jamming with him, along with a new bajo player who supposed to be pretty good. Well i guess now we have 2 great bands instead of one.

speaking of new groups i was in the valley a few weeks ago and heard a new group called Conjunto Total, wow blew me away. The singer and bajo player used to play with Ruben Vela for about 3 years, so you know the guy has good conjunto pedigree, anyways just letting you all know

Just talked to Jorge "COCO" Vasquez a lil bit ago and he tells me cd is almost done. They should be putting the finishing touches this wkend, yea!

By the way, they are called "CONJUNTO CON TODO" so be on the look out for it!
