Hey guys just wondering i saw the D Boyz recently and they were missing the second accordion player and backup vocalist. I don't know his name but i think they called him Tornardo he used to play with Bernardo as well. Anyways i think hes great, anyone know what happened to him, or if he is still part of the band?
I saw him at the STCA Awards... he performed with Edgar Vasquez but im not sure if he is with him now or he was just helpin him out for the occasion but yes he is a great musician
His name is Ismael Gamboa and yes he is from Laredo and used to play with several groups, Bernardo Y Sus Compadres, Edgar Vasquez, Los Cuatro Reales and of course Los D Boys. He is no longer jamming out at the moment, but I know that he wanted to jam out with Edgar although he already has an accordionist. If you ever hear Edgar Vasquez you will see that the accordionist he has now likes to play some Boni and has the voice as well. Check him out!
