Let me start by saying this was one cd that i would highly recommend! I really enjoyed the old-school conjunto sounds of these Conjunto Veterans. Arturo Guzman(Vocals) Roy Valdez(Bajo Sexto,Vocals) and Ruben Galvan(accordeon, vocals) are no strangers to the conjunto music scene in the Corpus Christi circuitAlso making a guest appearance is Greg Paderes from Conjunto Badd. Songs like Ya Volvio La Palomita, Te Querio Dar Las Gracias, Amor Con Amor Se Paga, and the title track La Vibora De Cascabel, make this cd great!! I can honest say that I enjoyed every song on this cd, which you cant say about most cds nowadays. This is old-school style conjunto in the mold of maybe Conjunto Express, or any of the really hardcore conjuntos on the scene today. I would highly recommend this cd to those who love conjunto music. Overall rating A+
Yah this cd was awesome i give it an A+.... hey u can hear sum of Ruben's own polkas on the cd he recorded with Grupo Humilde De Tomas Navarro...his polkas are nice and tight...they sound awesome that cd is awesome as well... it has Roland Gomez on the Bajo sexto an vocals as well...this cd is also Pure Hardcore Conjunto...buy it now only sold at the Trade Center with Mr. Serrato from Supremo Records.. so get it
