Friday night....was out til 2 in the morning....took a friend to get a tattoo done...Shout out to my boy Nick Torres...thanks for the hook up and the awesome tattoo that you did...
Saturday went to a Quincenera....The entertainment for the night was Marky Lee and (I hope that I am wrong ) "THE FUNKY BUNCH?????" ..."mas puuuto" ,anyway..crown and coke was kickin....the band sounded better as the drinks flowed and the alcohol took effect....had a great time amongst great friends...my babe was the Designated driver....sorry babe, but it was my turn...
Sunday....the day that I have been waiting on for quite some time....Lazaro Perez Y Su Conjunto!!! and let me tell ya....what a conjunto it was!!!! From the time he started playing, til the time he stopped, it was cheek to cheek, nalga con nalga on the dance floor, lord have mercy!!! "Tres and the boys really brought it to Houston....For being such a young guy, Tres really impressed me with his stage presence, his interaction with the crowd Y el "animo" que nos dio was "veteran" beyond his years, this young man is going to have a long and prosperous career in conjunto or whatever he decides to do...he just seems to exude confidence....Great job Bro....Mr. Adan De La Rosa...wow...if I was impressed last week....this Sunday he took it to another level...we definately have a future "bajo player of the year" in the making....great job once again....LPYSC covered alot of their material from all three CD's...my favorites of the night were...."APASIONADA", "LIMONCITO AZUCARADO", "BIEN MIO", "HASTA EL DIA DE HOY", one of my favorites "TE VAS ARREPENTIR"....the crowd loved them all.....oh by the way Tres, those "oldies but goodies" need to be put on CD sometime soon, they really took me back, and the fact that they are hardly played should make it an instant hit...great job once again....well thats it for this week....aye los wacho...
