I hadnt seen this posted anywhere.....do you guys agree with the winners? If not...make your own lists...who are your winners?


ANNOUNCING THE NEW CONJUNTO OF THE YEAR!
1.         Conjunto of the Year Ricky NaranjoY Los Gamblers
            (I would agree with this one)

2.         Aunque Pasen Los Anos Los Fantamas (cd of the year?)
            (There was so much good music released this year, real hard choice)
            
3.         Conjunto Single of the Year Tres Flores Ricardo Guzman
             (I would have chosen "TE VAS ARREPENTIR" off the same cd

4.         2010 Female Vocalist Mickey Mendoza
             (slim pickings here....Mickey works and tries hard...I am ok with this one)

5.         2010 Male Vocalist Boni Mauricio
             (wow....love Boni....but there are so many others that could have easily won this one)

6.         Drummer of the Year Dario Los Dos Gilbertos
            good choice here

7.         Bass Player of the Year Jesse Garza :Los IV del Barrio
            (very well deserved, this guy and his band really work thier asses off)

8.         Bajo Player Pete Diaz Los Monarcas
            (hard to argue with this one)


9.         Acordionist of theYear Charlie Saenz Leo Y Los Dominantes
            (NO ARGUMENT HERE....WELL DESERVED....CONGRATS CHARLIE!!!!!)

Upcoming New Conjunto Lazaro Perez
            (CONGRATS...ONCE AGAIN TRES.....SEE YA SUNDAY)

I agree with you 100% on all that man. Overall it looks better than other years, so hey i will give credit where credit is due. Hopefully this is the start of a rebirth of sorts for the stca. Congrats to all the winners and to all who put the event together.
