So after being lazy for about 2 years I decided to bring back my hauntings of the day. This is just for entertainment purposes, so if you get scared easily, and live in these areas do not read this. I might have posted these before, and for those who have read them I appologize. Lets start today off with Laredo, TX. These are a few haunted places, don't get to spooked.furious

Laredo (Webb County)

Alma Pierce Elementary

There's a restroom that has been closed for years already and the say it's haunted. On Halloween, three girls at a party, Ashley, Maria, and Tiffany went to a party there. As a joke, Ashley and Tiffany locked Maria in the restroom. They forgot about her until Maria's mom called the two girls' houses, asking if they had seen her. They told Maria's mom that they were joking around and locked her in the restroom. They told her mom they forgot about her. They sent the police to the school at about 10:00 PM. They looked for her in the restroom but they only found her shoes and clothes. Maria's body was not there; only blood was found.

Cigarroa Middle School

It is said that in the sixth grade hall, you can hear a ball bouncing, which is being chased by a young boy. Janitors say that at this exact time the clocks posted at every hall start to spin like crazy and they have never been able to set them on time.

Circle K

The apparition of a little girl wearing a sundress has been spotted, walking thought the aisles, carrying a carton of milk in her left hand and a package of Nutter Butters in her right hand. This convenience store is on McPherson Road.

Civic Center

A man had an accident in the dressing room. The weights that move the heavy stage curtains fell down on his head, killing him. It is now said by the janitors that you can hear him walking at night, and that he even pinches you. If you go up the second floor where the dressing rooms are, stage left, you can still see the cracks on the wall and floor left by the weights' fall.

El Barrio / El Cuatro

Apparitions of a woman and child dressed in white have been witnessed.

Fire Station #2

This was believed to be an old gravesite before the station was built. It is haunted by a firefighter by the name of Lupito. Firefighters feel their legs being pulled off the bed while they try to sleep. There are also reports of furniture shaking and moving, and reports of actual levitation.

Hamilton Hotel

Voices of children running and playing can be heard.

Supposedly a priest was pushed out of a window to his death a few decades ago. Now the hotel has furniture that moves itself, lights that go on and off on their own, and an elevator that functions on its own. There may have been more murders than just the priest, but we don't have anything more solid than that at the moment.

The Hamilton Hotel was originally constructed in two phases: the first in 1923 and the second from 1927-1928. The building consists of two towers and contains a total of 165 apartments, along with common and retail areas. The sounds of children running and playing can be heard.

Health Department

There are apparitions of people (figures more than actually human forms), who walk around once the offices close. Lights flicker on and of. The janitors often walk into cold spots, are left with eerie feelings and find that their cleaning supplies move without anyone being around.

H.E.B. Guadalupe

An apparition of a man dragging himself from section to section, trying to get out of the store, can be seen at night in this grocery store.
The apparition of a man has been spotted at night, dragging himself about as if looking for a way to get out of the store.

J.P. Oscar Martinez's Office

This was the old DPS office. Several employees have witnessed a deceased DPS officer wandering around the building at different times. He turns lights, computers, etc. on and off; he slams doors shut; he shuffles papers and files around. You can actually see the doorknob turning, but there is no one on the other side of the door. Visitors report strange sensations of being watched and feeling cold chills.

La Posada Hotel

This hotel is set beside the Rio Grande River and just to the side of St. Augustan Church. The building used to be a convent. Many have seen a nun roaming around the hotel, as well as a spirit that takes the form of employees and looks just like them, but will not talk. Other occurrences such as sightings, cold spots, someone calling out your name, objects moving and falling with no explanation have been reported. You can clearly hear footsteps and running in the St. Augustan Ball Room when there is no one there.

Lake Casa Blanca Ballroom

One night after a dance at the Casa Blanca ballroom, a guy named Mario gave a young woman a ride to her house. When she got out, she left her necklace in the car. Mario looked around and she had disappeared. He got out of the car and rang the doorbell at her house. He told the man who answered the door about the lady he had given a ride to, and how she left her necklace. The man explained it was his daughter's necklace, but that she had been dead for over five years because she had drowned at the lake.

Laredo Mall

Around 10:30 some say they see a little girl walking around. She has a doll in her right hand and she is crying for her mother. They say her clothing is about the mid 1900s.

Martin High School

It is haunted because there was once a cemetery where the school is now. The people who were in charge of the cemetery only took the head stones and didn't move the bodies. At night you can here the sound of welding, or see shadows in the school gym.

Mercy Regional Diagnostic Center

This used to be an old apartment building just south of St. Augustin High School in the old heights area. There have been reports of a demonic-looking figure being witnessed, who has glaring eyes, a wide grin, and a reptilian like tongue that hangs down to his chest.

Nixon High School

During the 1970s, a girl on the school dance team was killed by her jealous boyfriend. She was supposedly decapitated. Witnesses have claimed to see her spirit roaming about the school with no head. It is said that if you are by the school gym at night, you can hear the spurs on her boots chinking in the dark.

A dance team member's ghost has been reported wandering the school, and the spurs of her boots are supposedly heard in the gym at night.

Old Mercy Hospital

The hospital has been haunted since they closed it, and they say that you can still hear voices of all the people that died in the morgue.

It is said that in the old Mercy Hospital in Laredo there have been sightings of a nun walking around in the fourth floor. Now that the hospital is no longer open, many people have gone into the hospital and say that there is blood on the walls and there is a horrible odor in the morgue. Some people have said that when they go into the hospital they hear noises and footsteps from the third floor and, from what I have heard, no one has been able to go any further than the second floor.

It is said that dead nuns and patients that never made it out alive supposedly haunt the Old Mercy hospital. I have a friend that told me that he and his dad went inside and they could both feel a strong presence of someone watching over them, and they actually saw a man dressed like he was in prison. They looked away for a second and he was gone.

Old Police Station

Every time you go there you hear footsteps and you can hear whispers behind your back. There are some spots where you can feel a freeze, and sometimes a cat without a head will appear. People said that they used to do witchcraft there after they closed the police station.

Rio Grande River

The river is haunted by a woman named Maria, who pushed her three children off a cliff. Later, she took her own life the same way. She haunts the river until this day. Every night you can hear crying and calling out her children's names along the river. They say if you see her, she will come after you, thinking that you are one of her children.

United High School

United High School has been haunted for years. Some say they would see a dirty little girl under the portables playing or looking for something in the dirt. Others say an Indian haunts it. Janitors have experienced this haunting at night. One night, a janitor was cleaning one of the portables, picked up the trash, put it in a bag, fixed the desks, turned off the lights and locked the door. As he was walking away he looked back and saw that the lights were back on. He went back, and found the trash had been thrown on the ground and desks were messed up again.

United Middle School

There is a section of the school that is closed off because it is said that a girl was killed after a basketball game. It is said that you can see her shadow and hear her.

A closed-off section of the school is reportedly haunted by the ghost of a girl who was killed after a basketball game.

V.M.T. Magnet School

There are reports of footsteps on the second floor even when no one is there. There is a foul odor that travels around the room and also a cold spot.

Zacate Creek

A lady covered in mud wearing a white dress is seen walking through Zacate creek in La Azteca area. There is usually a foul odor in this area. People say it is the sewage that smells, but others say it's the smell of a ghost which is most likely to be that lady.

Bracht-Fisher House

This 120+ year-old building is home to an odd fog, ghost steps, self-operating porch lights and kitchen doors. Perhaps Leopold Bracht is responsible.

Laredo ISD

The Azios building is home to a specter who plays with lights and doors, and likes to startle the ladies by showing up.

Perez Elementary School

They say that Perez Elementary School is really haunted. It is said that if you go in the girls' restroom and say "I don't believe in you!" five times and then look in the mirror, a little girl of about five appears in the mirror. My sister, who's in that school in fifth grade, already tried it and she said that it is true. You can see the sad face of the little girl. People sometimes say that you can hear a little girl crying.
