Hey raza long time since i did a review for all you guys and i missed it. I have gotten alot of cds over the last few months so it's time to start reviewing again. Our first review is from the cd "Maldito Celular" from Los Enmascarados.
Ok i will be honest i have never been a big fan of these guys, but I decided to give this cd a chance to be fair. Well i will admit i was mildly surprised. Yes it is pretty good, and i enjoyed most of the tracks. Yes these guys will never be confused with Tony De La Rosa, or Angel Flores, ect.. but their music is just innocent fun to listen to. Tracks like "Maldito Celular" and "That Ugly Thing", can't help but make you smile at least a little. Rancheras like "Amor Prohibido", and "Como Amigos" make you want to dance.
Overall i will say this cd isnt for everyone, but it is for most fun loving conjunto fans who just want to have some fun drinking beer and playing pool on a Saturday night. It's to put it simply "Solid". I have no problem giving this cd a B+, I would recommend it to the causual Tejano/Conjunto fan. Good work Enmascarados.
