A team of archeologists from Argentina has found more than 300 dinosaur tracks in the Bolivian village of Icla.

Initial reports suggested the remains could be the oldest in the Southern Hemisphere - dating back to about 144 million years ago.

Paleontologist Pablo Gallina described the day he first saw the prints.

"When I stooped down to look at the prints, the other paleontologists were 50 meters ahead and saying There's more here! And above that there were more prints covering 30 meters with 50 or 60 steps all in a line, Gallina said.

Gallina and a team from Argentina were led to the prints by a local farmer who saw the team working near his village.

The archeologists said the prints were made by dozens of dinosaurs rare to this area. And near the prints, scientists found smaller prints - probably made by their babies.

Paleontologist Sebastian Apesteguia has worked with Gallian on the project.

"The site has preserved traces that are 70 million years older than the ones previously found, paleontologist Sebastian Apesteguia said.

They are about 140 million years old and are from dinosaurs living during the Jurassic or Cetacean Periods, which is interesting because these dinosaurs are completely different to the ones we have seen so far in Bolivia."

One dinosaur believed to have been here - an armored plant-eater with strong knobs and plates.

At the time these dinosaurs were alive, the Icla valley was part of a giant desert that stretched from South America to Africa.

Women Find Men With Scars More Attractive

"Women may have rated scarring as an attractive quality for short-term relationships because they found it be a symbol of masculinity."

(UPI) Men with scars on their face are more attractive to women seeking short-term relationships, researchers in Britain said.

Dr. Rob Burriss, from the University of Liverpool's School of Biological Sciences, says that it was previously assumed that in Western cultures scarring was an unattractive facial feature but in non-Western cultures they were perceived as a sign of maturity and strength.

The researchers found that women preferred men with facial scars for short-term relationships but they equally preferred scarred and unscarred faces for long-term relationships. Men regard women with and without facial scars as equally attractive for both types of relationship.

"Male and female participants were shown images of faces that displayed scarring from injury or illness, and were asked to rate how attractive they found the person for long-term and short-term relationships," Burriss said in a statement.

"Women may have rated scarring as an attractive quality for short-term relationships because they found it be a symbol of masculinity, a feature that is linked to high testosterone levels and an indicator of good genetic qualities that can be passed on to offspring. Men without scars, however, could be seen as more caring and therefore more suitable for long-term relationships."
