"LA TEJANA" KUKA 105.9 is on the air as of Monday December 3. It IS a FULL TIME conjunto radio station.

Obviously, we will depend on the support of hard-core conjunto lovers to maintain the format, and we look forward to your help as we get this thing kick-started.

The phones are ringing off the hook this morning, and we couldn't be happier. We knew this day was coming and are soooooo excited.

La Tejana 105.9 is here to stay! Obviously, the longevity of any radio format rides on ratings and advertising, and we feel FM factor will definitely give us a huge boost. But being second-generation Conjunto guys, Jerry and I were always aware that the Alice - Kingsville - Corpus Christi corridor is one of the true last bastions of traditional conjunto regional.
