CD Title:El Pachuco Nuevo

This is the first cd by the Pimpz from Eagle Pass Texas. 2 of the members (acordion, and Bajo sexto) are former members of the Garcia Bros. The Garcia's influence on the Pimpz can be heard through out the cd. It is a good mix of Rancheras and cumbias. Some of my favorite songs on the cd were "Johnny De Las Minas", "El Pachuco Nuevo", "Yo Fui El Primero", "El Firi Firi", and "Me Importa Maucer Popourri" They even brought out the saxophone on the cumbias just the way Jimmy Garcia used to with Los 4 Vatos Locos. I my opion this cd is alot better than most of the cd's Los Garcia's have put out the last few years combined. It makes you want to get up and dance, and drink a few beers of course haha! In closing Da Krazy Pimpz remind me alot of Los Garcia Bros. when  Jimmy was still calling the shots, which was during their peak. It brought back alot of those memories of Jimmy G. Overall i would recomend this cd to any conjunto lover, It's Puro Pinche Conjunto! Final Grade A+

Cristina they sound alot like the Garcia's  with Jimmy. Not the version with Joey singing. They have some room for improvment of course like ever other group out there but the future looks bright for them that's for sure. I liked their first cd.

I would give them about a B- to many cumbias for my taste. The guys are on there way, with a few minor adjustments i see them as one of the top conjunto's.

Thanks alot to everybody for da comments good and bad,, we're definately trying our best to give da people somethin to talk about,, which may explain da pimp outfit,, something different anywayz,, its hard to please everybody,, some people want more conjunto, some people want more cumbias, its just a matter of doing our best to please people of all ages,, we have definately been getting a great response from audiences and promoters everywhere we go so da future looks bright,, we r definately god willing here to stay for many years!!
So get used to PIMPIN CONJUNTO!!
