Thanks for letting my Canasta Records friends know about this gig, Tina! That's the week of the "Fan Fair" for "Tejano Music". But you know, I just don't get it, if they don't consider our Conjunto Regional "Tejano" music, THEN ??? I mean doesn't orange juice come from oranges. Don't worry things are changing little by little. Like i mentioned earlier having KOPY in Alice converted to a Puro Conjunto station is a Huge step forward for our music. Puro Conjunto on FM radio damn that sounds good!

Orange juice comes from Oranges! I thought it just magically appeared one day. No, All kidding aside, Linda, I admire and respect You and what you represent. You've devoted your life to CONJUNTO pouring your HEART & SOUL into it! For over 40 years you've stayed loyal and faithful to your passion "Conjunto Music"! Thank you for the music and for just being you. To me it takes a pretty Special & Unique person to do what you do & be the kind of person that you are. Do me a favor and kick ass at Fan Fair pa que sepan what they will be missing out on at the TTMA's.. Maybe if more fans let their voices be heard we can hopefully start seeing more Conjunto Groups at the TTMA's in the future..
I agree with you conjunto ig, pero we need more voices.. I truly believe that one day we will see a difference.. But for now, we just need to keep doing what we are doing, and keep being who we are. Never change..
